Event Description The dinner is a time for everyone in the community to come together and fight the hunger and homelessness that exist in our community and around the world. Those who join us choose a hand-crafted bowl, made by Arcadia University students and local artists, when they arrive at the dinner. The bowl is filled with wonderful soups, delicious breads and desserts donated by area restaurants, bakeries, and individuals."
Participants take the empty bowl home to serve as a reminder of the many people in the world who live with an empty bowl every day. This communitywide event is planned by the Community Service Office in honor of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week. |
