TEDMED happens at the Kennedy Center and via Live Simulcasting, in locations across America. Each of the 11 Main Hall Session will be live-streamed to Arcadia from professionally produced, multi-camera, high definition feeds.
Live Simulcasting enables tens of thousands of passionate thinkers and doers, in the health and medicine community nationwide, to experience TEDMED remotely. Every Session. Every Speaker. Every Performer.
Viewers of TEDMEDLive will not just be passive viewers; they will be active participants, able to send questions electronically to the speaker in real-time... and the speaker may answer their question directly from the TEDMED stage. Following the conference, viewers will also be able to receive supplemental support material, directly from the speaker, for any and every TEDMED stage presentation.
Through generous support from the AAMC we share the TEDMED stage with the nation's medical students, resident physicians, faculty, staff and the leadership of America's medical schools, teaching hospitals and health systems, and academic and scientific socieities represented by the AAMC.
