Dear Arcadia Community: On Sunday, April 15, 2012, the Arcadia University Genetic Counseling Program will be hosting a Benefit Bowl-A-Thon at Pike Lanes in Southampton, Pennsylvania from 2pm-4pm. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, which is a resource center providing education, advocacy, information and financial assistance for the uninsured needs of families caring for seriously ill and physically challenged children. The funds are used to help families in need with everyday expenses and uninsured items such as utility bills, parking fees at hospitals, child care, handicap equipment, wheelchair adaptations and more. If you would like to learn more about this organization, you can visit their website at www.kadmf.org. We would love to have you join us! Free food and beverages will be provided at the event! Also, the shoe rental is free and you’ll have the chance to win one of several great raffle prizes!! All of this is included in the admission price, which is only $10 per person, and will be collected at Pike Lanes during the event. With your help, we hope to make this event a tremendous success.
